Hummingbird Hues at the Dolores Farmer’s Market
“I love sharing my work with others as well as seeing others wearing or eating what I make!”
Jen Coppolino is gearing up for her second year at the Dolores Farmer’s Market. She´s a mother of two little ones and she has found an outlet for her creativity.
She makes jewelry and art using resin, which has become very popular in recent years. In addition to these items she will be offering specialty made hot pepper jellies, spicy relishes, and spicy corn relish made from local grown produce.
When she’s not creating, you can find her in the garden, with her chickens and of course chasing those littles.
While she initially chose the Dolores Market because it is free, making it the perfect place to test out her products in the local market, she says it´s been a success.
When asked what would make the market even better, she offered a great response-
Word of mouth/ advertising and return customer base would give me even more success!
That is exactly why we are doing this series on local vendors. How wonderful would it be to have hundreds of people gathering every Wednesday afternoon in the park? That´s the kind of grass roots economy that this area is ready for.
The market starts Wednesday, June 5th 4-7 pm in Joe Rowell Park. Be sure to stop by and say hi to Jen this summer.
