The 2024 Dolores Farmers Market Season Starts June 5th

Have you been to the Dolores Farmer’s Market?

When we moved home in 2020 it became the highlight of our week.

Every Wednesday afternoon I would load up the boys and head into town. Coming down the big hill we were eager to find delicious pastries, boba tea and fruits and veggies too.

The boys always made friends and being in the park, it was the perfect place to make an evening of it.

Kids playing hide and seek between bites of fry bread and moms basking in the summer time sunshine, it was perfection.

After we closed the market down we would head over to the Dolores River Campground for pizza.

Last year the boys decided they wanted a table too! The sold toys they no longer played with and watermelon juice, one of their all time favorite treats.

They even rolled up their sleeves and helped us create a watermelon patch so they could grow the watermelons themselves.

It was a great experience and they learned more about entrepreneurship than MBA students.

I’m going to be writing articles featuring all your favorite vendors as we count down the days until the market starts Wednesday, June 5th.

Interested in attending or being a vendor?

This year´s market will be held at Joe Rowell Park in the grassy area between the playground and the baseball diamond. And there will be food trucks this year! It happens every Wednesday from 4-7 pm.

If you are interested in being a vendor no registration is required, no spaces are guaranteed. Simply show up, set up and have a great time.
